Fakturownia Review 2026: Honest Take + Alternatives
Fakturownia has 600,000+ users and solid KSeF support. But is it enough for your business? Honest review, pricing, and comparison with Terminovo.
What is Fakturownia?
Fakturownia is one of Poland's most widely used invoicing platforms, with over 600,000 registered users as of 2026. If you run a business in Poland - or with Polish clients - there is a good chance someone on your team has already used it or been recommended it.
The platform covers the full invoicing workflow: create, send, and track invoices; manage client records; generate basic financial reports. It also integrates with KSeF (Poland's mandatory national e-invoicing system, Krajowy System e-Faktur), which became obligatory for most B2B transactions from early 2026. Add 65+ integrations with accounting tools, e-commerce platforms, and payment gateways, and you have a well-rounded invoicing product.
This review is honest. Fakturownia earns its user base. But it also has a gap that matters more every year - and we will cover that directly.
Fakturownia pricing in 2026
Fakturownia uses a tiered monthly subscription. Pricing in 2026:
| Plan | Price | Invoice limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | PLN 0/mo | 3 invoices/month |
| Basic | from ~PLN 10/mo | Limited documents |
| Standard | ~PLN 30β40/mo | Expanded features |
| Premium | ~PLN 59/mo | Unlimited + API access |
The free plan is genuinely usable if you issue only a handful of invoices per month. Beyond that, you move to a paid tier. For context, Terminovo's free plan includes KSeF invoicing with no invoice cap - payment recovery workflows start from PLN 49/month.
One thing to flag: if you want any automated payment follow-up in Fakturownia, that is not included in the standard plans. You can generate a payment demand letter as a PDF and send it yourself. That is the extent of it.
What Fakturownia does well
Before getting into limitations, credit where it is due. Fakturownia genuinely excels in several areas:
Simple, clean interface
The interface is one of Fakturownia's most praised qualities in user feedback. Creating an invoice takes under two minutes even for first-time users. The dashboard is uncluttered, and the learning curve is low. This is a real advantage for small business owners who do not want to spend time learning software.
KSeF compliance
Fakturownia has full KSeF integration. Since February 2026 all Polish businesses must receive invoices via KSeF, and from April 2026 most must also issue through the system. Fakturownia handles both sides: issuing and receiving structured XML invoices via Poland's government platform, returning the required KSeF reference number and UPO receipt confirmation.
This is not optional infrastructure - it is a legal requirement. Fakturownia meets it.
Integration breadth
With 65+ native integrations, Fakturownia connects to most tools Polish businesses already use: Allegro, WooCommerce, Shopify, Przelewy24, PayU, various accounting packages, and more. If your workflow involves an e-commerce channel or online payment processor, Fakturownia has likely already built the connection.
It also offers an international dimension - its sister products InvoiceOcean (English) and VosFactures (French) use the same core, useful if you operate in multiple markets.
Developer API
Fakturownia's API is well-documented and widely used. If you build custom integrations or run a platform that needs to generate invoices programmatically, the API is a genuine strength. Developers rate it well.
What users say: the honest picture
Reviewing Polish-language user feedback on Fakturownia, two patterns emerge consistently.
What users praise:
- Speed of invoice creation
- Clean, intuitive layout
- Reliable KSeF integration
- Wide integration ecosystem
- Responsive customer support
What users flag as missing:
- No automated payment reminders - every follow-up is manual
- No SMS reminder capability
- No payment tracking beyond invoice status
- Collections workflow stops at PDF generation; the user takes it from there
The second group of feedback is the more important one for any business that issues invoices on payment terms. Poland's average B2B payment delay runs at approximately 37 days beyond agreed terms. If you issue 30 invoices a month and 20% pay late, you are managing six follow-up threads manually, every month, indefinitely. Fakturownia does not help with that.
KSeF support: what you actually get
KSeF - Poland's mandatory e-invoicing system - changes the invoicing workflow significantly from 2026. Under the new regime:
- All B2B invoices must be structured in XML format and submitted to the government's KSeF platform
- Each invoice receives a KSeF reference number (36-character identifier)
- The issuing business receives a UPO (official receipt confirmation)
- The recipient can access the invoice directly through their own KSeF-linked system - the "I never received the invoice" excuse is eliminated
Fakturownia handles all of this correctly. It submits invoices to KSeF automatically on saving, returns the KSeF number, stores the UPO, and supports offline mode for when the government system is temporarily unavailable.
Where KSeF gets interesting for payment recovery is the audit trail it creates. A KSeF invoice is a government-timestamped document - its date of issue and receipt are indisputable. This matters when you need to follow up on late payments: the debtor cannot claim the invoice was never received. Fakturownia gives you this audit trail but does not help you act on it automatically.
When Fakturownia is the right choice
Fakturownia makes good sense in these situations:
- You run an e-commerce business and need tight integration with Allegro, WooCommerce, or Shopify - Fakturownia's integration library is hard to match
- You need developer API access for custom invoice generation or platform integration
- You operate in multiple markets and benefit from the InvoiceOcean or VosFactures ecosystem
- Your clients pay promptly and late payment follow-up is not a regular problem
- You issue very few invoices and the free plan covers your volume
- You need factoring - Fakturownia integrates with Finea for invoice financing
When Fakturownia is not enough
The gap shows up clearly in one specific scenario: you run a B2B business, you issue invoices on 14- or 30-day terms, and some clients regularly pay late.
In this scenario, here is your Fakturownia workflow:
- Issue invoice - Fakturownia handles this well
- Due date passes - Fakturownia flags the invoice as overdue
- You check the dashboard - you notice the overdue status
- You navigate to the invoice - you generate a payment demand PDF
- You email it to the client - manually, from your email client
- No response - you repeat, or escalate yourself
Every step from point 3 onward is manual, time-consuming, and easy to deprioritize when other work piles up. There are no automatic reminders, no SMS capability, no escalation sequences, no payment tracking links.
The cost of this manual overhead compounds quietly. If a single overdue invoice takes 45 minutes of your time across multiple follow-ups, ten overdue invoices cost you seven and a half hours. That is time not spent on work that actually generates revenue.

The summary: Fakturownia wins on integrations, API maturity, and e-commerce ecosystem. Terminovo wins on payment recovery automation - and offers KSeF invoicing for free with no invoice cap.
The cost of not automating payment follow-up
This is worth spelling out clearly, because it often gets underestimated.
Assume a small B2B company with 50 active clients. Average invoice value: PLN 5,000. Payment terms: 30 days. Late payment rate: 25% (close to the Polish B2B average).
That is roughly 12β13 overdue invoices every month. If each requires three follow-up touchpoints at 15 minutes each, you spend approximately 10 hours per month chasing payments. At a conservative hourly rate of PLN 100, that is PLN 1,000 per month in time cost - before counting the effect of delayed cash flow on your ability to pay suppliers or staff on time.
Terminovo's Professional plan (PLN 119/month) automates all of that. The reminders go out on schedule, the client receives an email and SMS, and payment tracking links make it easy for them to pay. Your involvement is only required if the client does not respond and escalation is needed.
Whether that trade-off makes sense depends on your volume and your time. But the math is usually clear.
Fakturownia alternatives worth considering
If you are evaluating Fakturownia and want to compare options, the main alternatives in the Polish market are:
- Terminovo - Free KSeF invoicing + automated payment recovery (Starter PLN 49/mo, Professional PLN 119/mo). Best for B2B businesses with recurring late payment problems.
- wFirma - Full accounting system with KSeF and some native reminder functionality. Best for businesses that need accounting, payroll, and HR in a single platform.
- InFakt - Clean invoicing with KSeF and optional accountant services. Best for sole traders who want an accountant in the package.
- iFirma - Listed company, 20+ years in the market, manual collections section. Best for businesses that prioritize financial stability of their software provider.
- Vindicat - Specialized collections platform with 10-stage escalation and BIG InfoMonitor integration. Best for businesses that already have an invoicing system and need advanced collections, including court document generation.

Verdict: should you use Fakturownia?
Fakturownia is a solid, well-maintained invoicing product. Its 600,000+ user base is not an accident - the platform genuinely delivers on the core invoicing workflow, KSeF compliance, and third-party integrations.
Use it if: your primary need is invoicing, you benefit from its e-commerce integrations, you need developer API access, or your clients pay on time and collections is not a concern.
Look elsewhere if: late payments are a regular problem and you need automated follow-up. Generating PDFs and sending emails manually does not scale, and the time cost accumulates faster than most business owners realize.
For Polish B2B businesses where payment recovery matters as much as invoice creation, a combined platform like Terminovo - free KSeF invoicing with automated reminders built in - closes the gap that Fakturownia leaves open.
